As you know we have been customers of yours for almost two years. The navigational tools you have provided for our retail furniture company dramatically changed the way we conduct business. For example, our deliverymen are paid hourly. Therefore, with your weekly report I can calculate their overtime to the minute. Before we implemented your tracking system, overtime hours were figured based on the employees’ word. We now know exactly when the truck is parked for the day. This eliminates unnecessary payroll expenses.
Recently, one of our drivers who parks the truck in a secure lot by his home decided to use the truck after hours for personal errands. As soon as this occurred, in the early morning hours, I was notified by phone, email, and a text message from your system. In “GPS Protected terms” the Geofence was violated which resulted in the three alarms. Needless to say, the very next day the driver was terminated. The liability our company could have been exposed to is beyond my calculation. This system also automatically computes weekly mileage reports as well as service reminders. These two features definitely help to minimize fuel costs.
Finally, we just wanted to thank you for replacing the GPS unit after almost two years at no charge. The new unit comes with a few upgrades including more detailed delivery and leave times as well as stronger cellular signals which slightly lowered our monthly bill. It is nice to see your company is keeping up with the newest technology.
